dig! Magazine is now in it’s tenth year of sharing jazz news with Winnipeg readers, and to mark the milestone, we’re throwing the 5th annual Rent Party on November 16 at the Park Theatre.
Featuring live jazz and fantastic prizes, the night’s proceeds will go towards funding Winnipeg’s one-and-only jazz publication.
For Editor in Chief Steve Kirby, dig! magazine is “the eyes, ears, soul and voice of the community,” and he’s committed to keeping it free and readily accessible to the wider public. “Jazz is experiencing a renaissance here in Winnipeg,” he says, “and that’s partly because we have an interested and informed audience that really appreciates the music.”
A “rent party” pays the proverbial landlord, so not only will you experience the best jazz this city has to offer, you’ll also be supporting dig! magazine as it continues to share the news-for free-in the Jazz Capital of Canada!
